Jennifer Feaster Endorses Alan Moore
Trusted Leadership and Proven Experience
I met Alan Moore many years ago when I joined the Kiwanis Club of Richmond. Alan was a Mounted Patrol Officer who represented the Wayne County Sheriff's Office at all their youth activities. His interaction with our youth while on horseback was such a gentle and educational experience for them. You could really see how much he cared about the kids.
I also get to interact with Alan in the Experimental Aircraft Association. He spends time at the Hagerstown Airport, volunteering his time helping to run very successful events. He enjoys interacting with people and getting to know them on a one-on-one basis.
Over the years, I got to know Alan and see the hard work he has put into the Sheriff's Office. His dedication to serving this community has been seen at all levels of the office. From patrol to jail operations and then civil process to administrative roles in several departments, Alan worked his way up the ladder to become the Chief Deputy.
Leadership at the highest level is about listening to others, learning and having the ability to do the administrative part of the job. As a financial professional myself, I know the importance of a balanced budget, maintaining relationships to find funding opportunities and keeping expenses within their means. Alan is already doing this in his role as Chief Deputy and will continue to do this when he is Sheriff because he cares about the entire county and has dedicated the last 31 years serving the people of this community.
That’s what the Sheriff's Office needs, Moore character, Moore leadership, Moore experience, and Moore honesty. I voted for Alan Moore for Sheriff and you should too!
