I am writing in support of the most qualified candidate for Wayne County Sheriff, Alan Moore. Alan is a proven man of high moral character who is able to build lasting partnerships. Alan is the definition of a humble and honest servant. He has remained loyal ot the Wayne County Sheriff's Department working in many roles there. 

Alan volunteered his time and talents from 1995 to 2022 to the citizens of Wayne County as a reserve deputy. Alan was involved in many roles and projects learning valuable work-related lessons all while earning the respect of others around him due to his work ethic and wide range of ability. Alan was then selected to be Chief Deputy by Sheriff Retter in 2022. Since being selected Chief Deputy, Alan has helped lead the Wayne County Sheriff's Department, including the jail, budget, civilian personnel, and road and investigative divisions. 

Earning the endorsemetns of Retired Sheriff Jeff Cappa and current Sheriff Randy Retter speaks volumes of Alan's high character, ability to lead, and qualifications to be the next Wayne County Sheriff. 

Throughout my 27-year career with the Richmond Police Department, I had many interactions with Chief Deputy Moore. He was always professional, honest, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I proudly support a man who defines integrity not by telling people that he is, but by quietly and humbly being it, especially when nobody is looking.
