My name is Ami Miller, and I have been a Police Officer in Wayne County for over 30 years. I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Alan Moore for many of those years.  Alan has been fully committed to the Wayne County Sheriffs Department. During this time, Alan has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic through his reliability and dedication.  I have seen first hand his dedication to the Wayne County Sheriffs Department and the community. There are several notable qualities about Alan that I would like to highlight. 

• Commitment.  Alan is, and has been committed to his community and the Wayne County Sheriffs Department consistently over several years. Alan has showed up and followed through, and he will continue to do so. 
• Character.  Alan’s character stands out through professionalism, who he surrounds himself with, and doing what is right.  
• Honesty.  Alan has always ensured that his actions and the way he communicates is straightforward and trustworthy. 
• Honor.  Alan is fair and has a very strong sense of integrity. 

I believe these are all qualities a leader should possess and demonstrate, and I believe Alan Moore demonstrates every single one of them. Alan has, and will continue to, uphold ethical standards and serve the community to the best of his ability.
